Their first release, the 7-track self-titled album “Spettro”, is a multifaceted work, clearly influenced by the musical history of the duet from Bologna: Nicolò (Grumo, Infamia, Entrøpia) and Simone (Nowhiterag, Infamia, Tumor Necrosis Factor) are both involved in the punk and metal scenes. Aggressive guitar riffs can turn melancholic when needed, wildly blending with hammering drum tempos and heavy-sounding bass lines. At the same time, sour voices convey the annihilation of a world which burns in the flames of existential suffering. Spettro is the pain germ which plunges the roots into the heart of a glacial night, anchored to the illusion of a spectral past in front of the inevitable ruin. La loro prima release, l’album self-titled “Spettro” di sette tracce, è un lavoro dalle mille sfaccettature, rappresentando un chiaro riflesso dei percorsi musicali di questo duo bolognese, attivo da tempo nelle scene sia punk che metal e composto da Nicolò (Grumo, Infamia, Entropia) e Simone (Nowhiterag, Infamia, Tumor Necrosis Factor). I riff di chitarra aggressivi ma che sanno anche essere malinconici quando serve, si fondono selvaggiamente con i tempi di batteria martellanti e le linee di basso dal suono pesante, mentre le voci aspre trasmettono l’annientamento di un mondo che brucia nelle fiamme del male esistenziale. Spettro è il germe della sofferenza che affonda le radici nel cuore di una notte glaciale, aggrappata all’illusione degli spettri del passato davanti alla rovina inevitabile.
